Types of Pirelli Scorpion Tires
Pirelli has a deep roster of Scorpion Tires to fit your exact needs. These tires range from balanced performance to ultra high performance and designed for summer, all season, all terrain, and winter driving.
When I set out to buy my set of Pirelli Scorpions, it was difficult for me to determine which type of tire fit my application and how exactly they compared with the other tires in the Scorpion family of products.

Summer Tires:
PZero – An on-road high to ultra high performance tire with an attractive asymmetric tread design and a new high-grip compound. This tire has high aquaplaning resistance and is designed for high performance driving.
Pzero Rosso – An on road summer tire with an emphasis on performance. This tire features the latest generation compound.
All Season Tires:
Scorpion Zero – A balanced to high performance tire great for all seasons.
Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico – A high performance to ultra high performance tire with a unique asymmetric tread pattern. A touch above the Standard Scorpion Zero.
Scorpion Verde – A high performance tire with some very interesting technology built in to reduce pollution and improve fuel efficiency.
Scorpion STR – A balanced performance tire great for all season wear.
All Terrain:
Scorpion ATR – A balanced to high performance tire with extreme versatility in mind. Designed for great off road capability as well as quiet and comfortable driving on normal roads.
Scorpion AT – A balanced to high performance tire with an aggressive tread pattern with a special compound for off-road use. This is a very tough tire designed to be punished yet still provide excellent handling on the road with comfort and low noise.
Winter Tires:
Scorpion ICE & SNOW – Specifically designed for modern trucks and SUVs on wet asphalt and gravel as well as snow. As usual these Scorpion tires emphasize great grip as well as comfort and low noise.
